What's changing?

All football clubs in New Zealand must soon use Sporty instead of COMET

​​​​​​​Shortly, all football clubs must use Sporty instead of COMET to:

  • Manage your official NZF database of players, coaches, officials and other club personnel
  • Red flag un-financial players
  • Terminate player contracts
  • Set-up your club kit
  • Set your club logo for display in Federation fixtures
  • Enter teams into competitions
  • Add players to a catalogue/squad

In addition, clubs will use Sporty for new functionality, such as to:

  • Use the Sporty live scoring app (MyFootball Manager) to set your game-day team line-ups
  • Enter game results
  • View the live match centre
  • A new MyFootball Profile for every member of the football community
  • New functionality for Grade Coordinators

NZ Football has partnered with Sporty to provide this functionality to all football clubs in New Zealand for FREE.
